Lifespan Society owns equipment for cryonics standby, cooling & stabiliation that can be used by Cryonics Providers.

Members have access to utilize our equipment in the event of a cryonics emergency or unexpected deanimation.

Our current kit is an Intermediate Standby Kit. We purchased this from Cryonics Institute and includes:

• Lucas Thumper & Compressed Air

• Bone-Injector for sodium citrate

• Ziegler Case

• Sodium Citrate and Heparin (with cardiac needle)

• Ice Water Circulation Pump

Our intention is to acquire a second kit from Alcor Life Extension Foundation in the near future.

We also intend to have a readily available freezers with ice bags for preparing an ice bath in an emergency.

As a member, you will be invited to our special WhatsApp notification group.

Society members can be made aware and check-up on you when:

• You are in the hospital.

• You are undergoing a medical procedure.

• You want to inform others that you’re travelling.

• You have been diagnosed with a serious medical condition.

Lifespan Society intends to purchase a vehicle that can store all necessary cryonics response equipment including the ability to lift and transport an ice-bath.

This vehicle will be stored in the Lower Mainland and regularly used for local dry-runs and cryonics training events until it is needed.

Members of the Lifespan Society of British Columbia receive voting rights. Every year we hold an AGM where all members are invited to vote for the board and governance of the society.
